In this post, CivicMic shares the Agenda for Hesperia's community meeting on October 21, 2020, at 6:30 PM and project background information. The meeting will cover improvements, maintenance, and services for the Hesperia Golf & Country Club. The City has proposed the formation of a Community Facilities District ("CFD") - a special tax added to the property taxes of properties surrounding the golf course that benefit the most from the improvements. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss ideas received from the community at the previous meeting, answer additional questions, and the next steps.
Important: The formation of a Community Facilities District must be approved by the affected voters. The City can't form a Community Facilities District without voter approval.
