Client Case Studies

Included below are some representative samples of when we assisted our past clients in engaging the public to better represent their communities.

CITY OF CULVER CITY

Funding Public Improvements in Hayden Tract

A multi-channel community campaign to drive public engagement

The City engaged CivicMic to connect with property owners to understand improvement priorities as well as guide the potential development of a Property-based Business Improvement District, or PBID, in the Hayden Tract.

A PBID (Property-based Business Improvement District) would fund Hayden Tract public improvements that would not otherwise occur due to the lack of funding from the City's General Fund.

Joshua Basin Water District

Developing A Process for Refund Requests

A multi-channel community campaign to drive public engagement

NBS audits showed discrepancies in the administration process, with some property owners paying too much and others too little. Consequently, more than 200 property owners became eligible for a refund.

A dedicated webpage was developed to inform the residents about the Standby Charge. Additionally, CivicMic developed and hosted the online application webapp while processing submissions.

Stanislaus County Urban Pockets

Collecting Feedback From 50 Communities

A multi-channel community campaign to drive public engagement

Stanislaus County worked with CivicMic to gather feedback from 53 of the County's unincorporated urban pockets and communities to address and prioritize their infrastructural needs.

CivicMic conducted multi-lingual surveys, held a dozen in-person and virtual workshops, and walked door-to-door to receive public feedback on how the funding should be allocated. The feedback collected was then presented to the Board of Supervisors for support of the final decisions on which infrastructure improvements will be funded.

We would love to hear from you.
