ReNew Oxnard Team 3-10 Citizens Committee Update
Country Club Estates
Citizens committee members have been actively engaging fellow community members to find the best possible solutions for improvements to the community’s landscaping. Currently, it has been determined that there is community support for a higher level of landscaping improvements in and outside of the community, as well as interest in a community cleanup event. Recently, the Renew Oxnard program was discussed at the neighborhood council meeting, where multiple ideas were brought under consideration to potentially facilitate the community’s goals, including maintaining the status quo, dissolving the Landscape Maintenance District (“LMD”), or forming a Community Facilities District (“CFD”). CivicMic has been invited by committee members to join the next neighborhood council meeting in July to further discuss potential ideas in detail and gauge community support.
River Ridge
There has been some community interest in certain landscaping improvements to the interior and perimeter. However, at present, there has been limited community engagement and more community involvement will be necessary to continue this effort.
Participation is crucial in the collaborative governance process. If you would like to get involved, please email Danielle at dwood@civicmic.com.
