The City’s Landscape and Lighting District No. 1 (LLD 1) and Street Maintenance District No. 1 (SMD 1) fund services that enhance safety, improve traffic flow, and enhance public spaces. However, due to rising costs, these districts are facing funding challenges that could impact service levels.

Join us at one of our two in-person community meetings to learn more about potential funding changes, get preliminary rates for landscaping, street lighting, and street maintenance services, and discuss how these services impact you.

I am very interested in finding out when the city’s traffic lights will be timed to smooth the flow of traffic. Will this be addressed in the meeting?

    1. Hello Denise,

Thank you for your question. The timing of traffic lights was not discussed at the meeting, but for more information on that specific topic you can call Traffic Engineering: 760-639-6116. You can also use the City’s Report A Problem page to ask online.
