Join Us in Planning Exciting Changes for the West Linda Community

In 2023, Yuba County was awarded a $21 million grant from California's Active Transportation Program to fund the West Linda Comprehensive Safe Routes to School Project. This project will enhance pedestrian connections and improve safety around local schools by constructing sidewalks, crosswalks, accessible ramps, bicycle lanes, and curbs.

In addition to sidewalks and bike lanes, the project includes the installation of storm drains and gutters to address standing water issues and reduce flood risk.

The West Linda Comprehensive Safe Routes to School Project will improve transportation and access within West Linda to make our community safer and more connected than ever before – improving how residents get around, whether it's walking, biking, or driving, and creating safer paths to schools and other key destinations.
